Nature on a plate – lunch
The changing Nature on a plate-lunch is inspired by Finnish nature, wild herbs, as well as organic and local food. It includes a hearty salad buffet with seasonal vegetables, several delicious main course options, warm side dishes to accompany the main course, a delicious soup of the week, a selection of house breads and spreads and a sweet dessert. Everything is crowned with a cup of organic coffee or tea.
All the ingredients we use in the restaurant are pure, fresh and flavorful. We accommodate special diets, and there are always gluten-free and vegan options available.

Coffee, cakes and salty pies
At Restaurant Haltia’s café, you’ll find delicious cakes, traditional Finnish buns, savory sourdough rolls, and, of course, fresh coffee!
We use eco-friendly packaging, and all our coffee is organic and FairTrade certified.
Our café is a popular meeting spot for friends and remote workers alike. The window tables in the dining area offer a perfect view of the picturesque Nuuksio scenery, while the wooden tables and comfortable chairs invite you to take a moment to relax in the midst of a busy day.

Haltia’s Eight Outdoor Saturdays
The Finnish Nature Center Haltia hosts this years eight Outdoor Saturdays, offering ideas and guidance for year-round outdoor adventures with a new theme each month. The changing themes honour nature, and the day’s program is designed accordingly. The program includes activities for all ages and free guided activities such as lectures and excursions. The sauna is heated for relaxing after hiking.
Restaurant Haltia’s buffet is served from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Haltia is open from 10.00AM to 6.00PM, and admission to the exhibitions is free from 4.00PM to 6.00PM. Check out the Outdoor Saturday program and come enjoy the nature of Nuuksio National Park and delicious flavors!
